This is your time to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models will be available for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts as high as 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is awe-inspiring. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.
1. iRobot Roomba j7+
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its greatest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects like charging cords, shoes and the pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often go through). It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters to let you know to avoid it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop that we have ever tested. It picks up dirt and spills quickly leaving no trace it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't sweep in areas that you don't would like. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.
Its design is also an improvement over the rest, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty which is great for reducing your cleanup time.
In our tests the j7+ performed quick to clean up dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in one place instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able to capture small gravel, sand and even a tiny bit of grit. Most robots could not achieve this feat. It did all this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.
The j7+, while not as smart as the Roomba S9 for $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot and can't clean the stairs, is an option for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not too expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.
While the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly, we've found it to be less reliable than other applications that use robotic cleaners. It can take some time to download updates, and at times it's hard to determine whether the update is functioning until you've seen it in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors then a hybrid is the best choice. These bots are equipped with a water tank so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also come with a variety of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're expensive at full retail but often are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock produces several of our top robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ doesn't disappoint. This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and while it's not equipped with certain features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing compromise a bit in order to save a few hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to cleaning dust bunnies, which is an area where cheaper robot vacuums often fail. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is fantastic too, with very little missed corners and along walls.
The Q5+, as with other Roborock products can be controlled via just a few buttons on the device, or via the Roborock App. With the app you can begin and stop cleanings, set schedules, create virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or change the labeling of rooms.
If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-empty dock designed specifically to make this robot easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once in place the process of emptying the bin is easy. It also comes with an impressive LCD display, which is nice to have when you're creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't essential for the majority of people, but it can help to keep the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design and features are among the most advanced available however it's expensive.
The base station looks nice and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is quite compact. The station's most appealing feature is the way it automatizes numerous tasks and functions that most other robots will leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot fully charged and clean.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's the only robovac that I've tried that does a good job picking up debris from bare floors. It's also not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the home. It can't navigate stairs as well as competitors, either and doesn't come with a dock that allows you to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for plush carpets.
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent option for those looking for an automated vacuum that can do it all.
If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options on the market. A lot of eufy models are considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for example is a bit more expensive and has more features, such as stairs and a fully-function Dock, with an improved overall experience when vacuuming on floors that are unfinished carpets with low pile and even high-pile ones.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
Eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums with the right balance of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning on hard floors and mopping, carpets and other surfaces at a price that is affordable. It's easy to set up by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock should be located near an outlet and have enough space to move.
The G30 is a small device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it can be placed under most couches and low-clearance pieces furniture. Its design is more subtle when compared to rival models. It has a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.

The way in which the G30 cleans is what separates it from its rivals. It uses an integrated map to draw an image of the unmovable items that are in its path. It keeps track of what it has already cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. It then returns to the base to recharge and then continues cleaning where it left off.
The sleek G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower recurring costs. best affordable robot vacuum charges faster, offers a similar battery life, and performs better on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require to be emptied as often and comes with a set of boundaries that restrict it from certain areas. robot vacuum deals , however, is more affordable and a lot more manageable to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating bulky material such as cereal.
