A Robot Vacuum Deals Success Story You'll Never Remember

Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your time to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's best-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts of up to 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most advanced robot to date is the Roomba J7+. Its most significant advancement is an obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of an object it encounters so you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease and leaving no trace that it was there. It's simple to control via the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning times and create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum areas you don't want it to. And it's compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off with your voice.

The design is also better than the other models. It features a sleek, high-end piece that looks like toys rather than the loud and annoying robot. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty which is great for reducing your cleanup time.

In our tests, we discovered that the j7+ quickly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one spot rather than sending it scattering all over the floor. It even was able to take small gravel and sand, which most other robots couldn't do. And all this without getting tangled up in our pet's hair shedding.

The j7+, though not as smart as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and cannot clean the stairs, is still a good option for those who want both mopping and a vacuum. It's not expensive and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly to use.

Although the iRobot Home app is very user-friendly however, we've found it to be less reliable than other apps that work with robotic cleaners. It can take a while to download updates and it can be difficult to tell whether they're working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that does more than simply clean your floors, a hybrid is the ideal choice. These robots come with a water tank so they can vacuum and mop at the same time. They also have a number of extra features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be pricey at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they are often reduced in price.

Roborock makes some of our most loved robot vacuums, and the Q5+ is no exception. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and while it's not equipped with some of the features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles such as wall legs and table legs which makes it a great choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a place where most robot vacuums of lower quality fall short. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb too, with very little missed corners and along walls.

The Q5+, like other Roborock products, can be controlled by only a few buttons on your device, or via the Roborock App. The app lets you begin and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and modify your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock, which was designed specifically to make this robot simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once in place, emptying the bin is relatively simple. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful in setting up schedules and adjusting settings. This isn't a necessary feature for the majority of people but it can help you keep track of the maintenance intervals for your robot effortlessly.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and function are among the best on the market - but it's also pricey.

It's a tiny base station that looks great and is able to be concealed when not in use. The primary selling point of the station is that it can automate many tasks, chores and functions that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which the majority of other robots require you to do) also emptying the dustbin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot clean and charged.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robovac I've tried that does an excellent job of removing debris from bare floors. And it's not as loud as the expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robotvacs.  automatic vacuum  means that it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It can't climb stairs as well as competitors, either and doesn't come with an dock that allows the user to set up a dedicated cleaning zone for carpets with plush padding.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a great option for those looking for a vacuum robot that can do it all.

If you're looking to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many other options available. A lot of eufy models are substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance, is cheaper however it comes with many more features, like stairs and a fully-function Dock, that provides the ability to provide a more thorough vacuuming experience on bare floors carpets, low-pile carpets as well as high-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

Eufy is an Anker company with a long history of creating robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning on hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a price that is affordable. It's simple to set up, just connect one of the side brushes, turn it on and connect your charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. The dock must be located close to an outlet that has enough space to move.

The G30 is a tiny device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, so it is able to be tucked away under couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design isn't as ostentatious compared to some rival models. It is sleek with a black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes), Recharge, and Spot Cleaner. You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to conduct cleaning without a schedule using voice commands.

The main characteristic that sets the G30 apart from most competitors is the method it cleans. It makes use of an integrated map to draw an image of the immovable items in its path. It keeps track of the things it has cleaned and the areas it was unable to access. When it's time to recharge, it automatically returns to its starting point and begins cleaning from where it began.

The eufy G30 has a few flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower cost of operation. It charges faster, has the same battery life and performs better on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and comes with a set of boundaries that keep it away from certain areas. The G30, on the other hand is more affordable and a lot simpler to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and it's less difficulty handling bulky products like cereal.
